I remember Pete in many ways. One was that he made sure all of his kids worked for their money. They all had paper routes. Melda had the huge one on Sunday Mornings and Pete would get us up before sunrise on Sundays and we would go deliver the papers all morning long. Pete loved politics and together we would solve the problems of the government. One thing form Pete-he made you accountable to yourself. I learned from him.
