My condolences to the entire Dagenais family. I have many fond memories of my long time neighbor and even more from the years I lived with her. I will cherish the bonding we did then. Yvonne loved to tease me about my fear of spiders and I loved seeing the smiles it brought to her face. I will definitely miss her.

When I graduated from 8th grade, Yvonne invited me to go to California with her on the train to visit her relatives. I had never traveled anywhere and this was a very big deal in my life. On the train I got to sleep in a sleeper car, play cards in the club car, eat in the dining car. In California we went to many of the attractions and she opened up a whole new world for me. Maybe that is where I got the travel bug that I still enoy.
