My father, Edward Wayne DeWitt, aka Pop Ewing, passed away yesterday. I am sad, but I am also very happy he is with the rest of his family who passed before him and is at rest. I know while his body is at rest now, the personage that is his spirit is alive! The part of him that thinks, feels, loves, tells stories, desires to work hard and care and provide for his family, is very much alive! The reunion in the spirit world yesterday must have been very powerful as I know the friends and family who have already passed to the other side of the veil love him so much! He is a very quiet but loving man in private, very outgoing and super talkative in public. Most of our times together in public ended up with him talking to complete strangers, bragging on his family and talking for a looonngg time. LOL...he touched many hearts. He will be missed by many! Looking forward to the reunion in heaven one day when we embrace as father and son, full of truth and light and looking forward to doing all the work in heaven that needs to be done; and we will be doing it together! Looking forward to seeing friends and family this weekend in Blue Island, IL, as we gather to mourn together and remember and celebrate his life.
