Hal and his beloved Wife are in Church singing in God Choir!
I replaced 3 ballast in their basement and when i was done they asked e what the charge was?
I told them i work for food. I wanted a Pierogie and they didn't have any so his Wife gave me more blue Berries than you could shake a stick at.
I worked for them replacing a 3 ways switch to a light to be switched from the house and from the garage.
I charged that they order a Pizza and eat with me.
Hal's wife knew bible verses and we'd have many chats about our Lord Jesus Christ!
I call him Hal because i worked for an outside contractor at Clark Oil.
I met Kiwi and a few of His work mates and they called him Hal.
I wrote Hal was here on top of every Silo i worked on there.
Hal was in retirement and i don't think I ever met a man with the strength and determination he had.
i done well to try and be like him in some ways he never knew.
i done some manual labor around his house with him and he out worked me!
so when ever i helped him after that i ate first because he was a very tenacious and diligent man!
God take Hal and his wife and rejoice in their reunion in Heaven,,,Amen!

This morning my heart aches because we will lay Harold to rest. I was really hoping and praying we could keep him in our lives forever, but that is not God's will. Our many wonderful memories will keep him in our hearts forever, though. We are blessed to have had him all these years. We feel we are better people for having known him and spent time with him.
Even in his last weeks, we would visit regularly, hoping to bring him joy and love and comfort, only to realize that is what he was giving to us.
We send our love and compassion to everyone who was lucky enough to have known him.

My mom and I are so very sorry to hear of Harold's passing. We wanted him to stay with us "forever," but we know God needs and exceptional angel in heaven. Harold was are dear friend. He helped my mom out so many times, especially when she needed rides to church in snowy winter months. Harold was my Luther League Leader, and his super qualities of patience, understanding, and caring made us enjoy Luther League and respect what it stood for in the church. Please know we are sending our sincere sympathy to you, Harold's family, and praying for your strength in this difficult time. Beautiful memories of Harold will live forever, and may you be strengthened by knowing your dad is once again with your mom. Love to all, Mildred Rauch and Roberta Rauch Boehlke

There are so many memories that I have of Harold "Hoo Hoo" especially, his driving - he's a speedster. My last visit with Hoo Hoo a couple of weeks ago will remain with me for the rest of my life. I have never met a more kind, funny, loving person who not only loved his family, but just loved life to the Nth degree. I aspire to be just like Hoo Hoo. He will be terribly missed. My prayers are with his family. Hoo Hoo, thank you for the wonderful memories. May you rest in peace and watch over all of us, especially your family.

Harold was the answer 19 years ago when I prayed for love and companionship back into my widowed mother's life. God answered "exceeding abundantly beyond what I could think or ask" in magnificently lovable "HooHoo," full of kindness, care, wit, with the most delightful laugh one could have the pleasure of experiencing. He became part of our whole HUGE family in short order to where it's hard to remember life without him. Harold and Mom would travel to visit us in rural Wisconsin; I would make him chicken 'n dumplings and apple pie from scratch. We shared stories from heart to heart. After Mom went home to heaven years ago, God left our family the love of Harold to fill the void of no more parents or grandparents. What a gift. What an absolute magnificent gift.

Harold was a sweetheart. Bob's Dad was iffy about doing the Honor Flight and Harold keep talking to him until he did it and was at at the airport to meet him when the plane landed. Bob's Dad was so glad Harold talked to about it. He will be missed by all.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family. Your Dad, Harold Mislich, was a great guy. Big and mean looking at times. Yet always with a big heart and warm smile he didn't show often enough. His kindness and thoughtfulness will be forever remembered. --The McFalls Family

Harold was the first member of extended family I met; he and Eleanore stopped in to visit my parents in Alexandria a few weeks after I was born in 1950. (I believe it was their honeymoon!) Throughout the decades, he was always the same cheerful, mischievous, loving man, and always kind and thoughtful to me.
