Obituary of Harry P. Aggen Jr.

Harry P. Aggen Jr., 87, formerly of Blue Island, beloved husband of the late Grace "Babe" nee LaForte, loving father of Victor (Tammy) Aggen, cherished grandfather of Alexander (Alyssa) Aggen and Alyssa Aggen, proud great grandfather of Aiden Robert Aggen, dear brother of LeRoy (late Beverly) Aggen, Ellen (late Clinton) Marks and the late Zena (late Jerry) Sluiter and the late Louella (late Frank) Homerding, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Harry was a veteran of the US Army and a resident of Blue Island since 1959. He was a former truck driver for Martin Oil and former owner and operator, along with his late wife, of Babe's Truck Stop, Aggen's Inn, Babe's Diner and Babe's Farmhouse Inn. Visitation will be held Monday from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral services Tuesday, May 19th, at 10:00 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip.
