Obituary of Edgar E Coffey

Edgar E. Coffey, 98, of Arcadia, Florida, formerly of Blue Island. He was the beloved husband of the late Helen M. nee Zeller, who passed away March 20, 1999. The couple were united in marriage September 16, 1940. Edgar was the loving father of the late George Coffey and the late Iva Jean Bleege. He is the devoted grandfather of Wayde Bleege and the late David Bleege and the cherished great grandfather of Meghan. Edgar was a US Army veteran serving in WWII. He was formerly employed by the Rock Island Railroad as a conductor. Edgar was a member of the Masons. Visitation for Edgar will be held Friday, December 16, 2016 from 9:30 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Interment will take place at First Ev. Lutheran Cemetery, Alsip.
