Obituary of Jose Isaac Becerra

Jose Isaac Becerra, 60, of Blue Island, passed from this life Friday, June 21, 2019. He is the beloved husband of Maria D. nee Castillo. Jose is the loving father of Ricardo Castillo, Alexander (Jaqueline) Becerra and Isaac Becerra. He is the proud grandfather of Araceli, Elizabeth, Ricky Jr. and Alex. Jr. Jose is the cherished son of Otilia Duenas and the late Jesus Becerra. He is the dear brother of Gloria (Filimon) Castillon, Ismael (Esmeralda) Topete, Efrain (Maria) Becerra,  Maricella (Herminio) Acosta and the late Ramon Duenas Becerra, fond brother in law of Elida C. Becerra. Jose leaves many other family members and friends to cherish his memory.

Jose was born April 20, 1959 in La Laja, Jalisco, Mexico. He has been employed by Down River Signode for the past forty one years. Jose could often be found repairing his own pick up truck. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends sharing his love of music with them, especially Banda and Rancheras music.

Visitation for Jose will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2019 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Chapel prayers will begin Thursday at 9:00 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island, then to St. Benedict Church, 2339 York St., Blue Island for mass at 10:00 am. Interment St. Benedict Cemetery, Crestwood.
