Obituary of Maria R. Perez

Maria (Cuca) was born in Jesús Maria Jalisco, Mexico. She passed away peacefully on October 25, 2020. Loving wife of Sergio Perez of 46 years . Beloved mother of 4 children: Blanca Perez-Mondragon, Ernesto Perez, Jose Perez, Antonio Perez. Grandmother of 9 grandchildren: Gustavo Perez, Sky Mondragon, Isaak Mondragon, Connor Rising, Jayden Perez, Jordan Perez, Arianna Perez, Anthony Perez, Kris Perez and great grandson Aaiden Perez. And many nieces and nephews. Maria was loving, passionate, strong and open hearted. She loved to sing. Maria was a very knowledgeable woman who was very devoted in her faith. She was very caring with a heart of gold. Willing to help as much as possible and loved everyone who came her way. Her life was full of wanting to always help and care for people. She was a beautiful woman in and out! Visitation for Maria will be held Friday, November 6, 2020, from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Chapel prayers will be conducted Saturday, at 11:00 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island, then to St. Donatus Church, 1939 Union St., Blue Island for mass at 12:00 noon. Interment will be held at Cementerio Municipal, Jesus Maria, Jalisco, Mexico. Due to the Covid 19 restrictions, all precautions must be adhered to and will be enforced. All visitors must have facial coverings and follow social distancing standards of 6 feet. The number of visitors will be monitored and it is requested that you refrain from physical contact. Out of courtesy to all who wish to pay their respects, please keep your time in the chapel brief.
