Obituary of Victor W. Nutter

Victor W. Nutter, 91, of Blue Island, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 2, 2020. Victor was the beloved husband of the late Amy nee Graves and the late Barbara nee White. He is the loving father of Brian (Diana) Nutter, Larry (Susan) Nutter and Carrie Nutter (George) Novak. Victor is the proud grandfather of Scott (Jenny) Nutter, Samuel Nutter, Stacy (Shane) Sparks, Sara Ann (Tyler) Bester, Andria Nutter, Lauren Nutter, Timothy Nutter, Ian Nutter, Katherine Nutter and Abigail Nutter. He is the dear brother of the late Carolyn Ahern and the late Harold Nutter and the dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Victor was a United States Army Veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was a proud union electrician and member of Local 134. Victor was a longtime member of The Stone Church of Orland Park. He was an avid Cubs fan and a true lover of animals. Victor cherished his grandpets, Breylin, Santana, Monet, Willow Bay and those that crossed the Rainbow Bridge, Chequers, Cody and Grayson. Visitation for Victor will be held Sunday, November 8, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11:00 am at Krueger Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery. If you would like to contribute in Victor's memory, donations may be directed to any organization of your choice that supports the well being of animals or The Stone Church, 10737 Orland Parkway, Orland Park, IL 60467. Due to the Covid 19 restrictions, all precautions must be adhered to and will be enforced. All visitors must have facial coverings and follow social distancing standards of 6 feet. The number of visitors will be monitored and it is requested that you refrain from physical contact. Out of courtesy to all who wish to pay their respects, please keep your time in the chapel brief.
