Obituary of Gladys E. Alamprese

Gladys E. Alamprese nee Rippe, 94, of Blue Island, passed from this life Thursday, November 12, 2020. Gladys was the beloved wife of the late Daniel A. Alambrese, who passed away November 20, 1996. She is the loving mother of Patricia (Jerome) Cak and Lynn (Rick) Maloney. Gladys is the cherished grandmother of Karen (Ryan) Niederkohr, Tony (Daniella Berman) Cak, Laura (Matt) Haver and Lisa (Ryan) Pearson. She is the devoted great grandmother of Maggie Niederkohr, Clara Niederkohr, Jacob Haver, Adam Haver, Baily Pearson and Levi Pearson. Gladys is the dear sister of the late Ruth Roberts the late Viola Holdefer the late Esther Breckenridge the late Leona Baer the late Marion Peters the late John Rippe Jr. the late Maybelle Meyer and the late Raymond Rippe. Gladys was born December 19, 1925 in Blue Island to the late Mary nee Sievert and John Rippe. She was a lifelong Blue Island resident. Gladys was a faithful member of First Ev. Lutheran Church and active in the Ladies Aid Society of the church. Services and interment will be held privately.
