Obituary of Lynn Therese Kozola

On December 11, 2020 our beloved mother, wife, and Nana, Lynn Therese Kozola, passed away. She is survived by her beloved husband Jeffrey C. Vena, whom she married June 29, 2014, her devoted children James (Sarah) Kozola and Robert (Megan) Kozola, her cherished grandchildren Ella, Ethan, Macie and Brady and her loving brother and sister, Michael Szczepanski and Patricia (Richard) Slager. She was preceded in death by her dear parents Chester Szczepanski and Florence nee Bylczynski and her sister Ginny Kaled. Lynn will always be remembered for her unconditional love of her husband, children, grandchildren, and dogs. Her strength was immeasurable and her laughter could light up an entire room. Lynn proudly took on her role as "Nana" and was her grandchildren's greatest cheerleader. Her memory will always live on in our hearts. Visitation for Lynn will he held Monday, December 21, 2020 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 noon at the Krueger Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to NWI K9 Search and Recovery an organization Lynn was both a part of and passionate about. Due to the Covid 19 restrictions, all precautions must be adhered to and will be enforced. All visitors must have facial coverings and follow social distancing standards of 6 feet. The number of visitors will be limited to ten (10) and monitored, it is requested that you refrain from physical contact. Out of courtesy to all who wish to pay their respects, please keep your time in the chapel brief. Thank you for your understanding, as we all work together during these unsettled times.
