Obituary of Angelina Richardella

Angelina Richardella, 89, of Blue Island, passed from this life Thursday, January 14, 2021. Angelina was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Richardella who passed away in 2011. She is the loving mother of Luci (the late Chuck) Lambert, Lenora Richardella, Kathi (Phil) Blackman, Jeanette (late Gregg) Mallery, Michael (Ilsa) Richardella, Joanne (Jim) Flores and the late Bernadette Harding. Angelina is the cherished grandmother of fourteen and the late Allison. She is the proud great grandmother of three. Angelina leaves behind one brother in Italy. Angelina was born August 5, 1931 in Ripacandida, Italy to the late Giovanna and Paquale Musto. She has resided in Blue Island for seventy-one years. Angelina was a faithful member of St. Donatus Parish. She soon became one of the dedicated women who volunteered their summers making outstanding pizzas for the St. Donatus Fest that were enjoyed by everyone in the community! Angelina was devoted to her family and friends. She loved nothing more than to prepare delicious meals for them and then to spend time together sharing those meals and having conversation. Angelina was her happiest when she was surrounded by her family. Visitation for Angelina will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 9:30 am until the time of Holy Mass at 10:30 am at St. Donatus Church, 1939 Union St., Blue Island. Entombment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Jude Childrens Hospital greatly appreciated.
