Obituary of Terrance H. Rounds

Terrance H. Rounds, 76, of Blue Island, passed from this life Saturday, January 23, 2021. Terrance is the beloved husband of Joann M. nee McNamara. He is the loving father of Cindy (Bill) Heisterman and John (Lena) Plate. Terrance is the proud grandfather of Nina (Jeff) Stickney, Kristy Plate, John J. Plate, Bill (Paige) Heisterman, Brian Heisterman and Kevin Heisterman. He is the devoted great grandfather of Oliver Stickney, Georgia Stickney, Julian Stickney and Avery Heisterman. Terrance is the dear brother of the late Bill (Rita) Rounds, Richard (late Rita) Rounds, Jane Stanke, and {Tom (Mary Fran) Rounds and Ted (Mary Ellen Rounds}, of whom he was the third triplet! Terrance was born May 30, 1944 in Chicago to the late Hilda nee Hillman and the late Frank Rounds. He is a United States Army veteran, serving in Vietnam. Terrance loved to golf, but above all, he was a "family man". Terrance cherished his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation for Terrance will take place Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 9:30 am until the time of Mass at 11:00 am at St. Benedict Church, 2339 York St., Blue Island. Committal services will be held in the chapel at St. Benedict Cemetery in Crestwood.
