Obituary of Juan Gabriel Unzueta
Juan Gabriel Unzueta Sianez, 46, de Alsip, falleció el Martes (16 de Febrero de 2021) en su casa con su familia a su lado.
Juan nació el 3 de Mayo de 1974 en Durango, México, hijo de Manuel y Rosario Unzueta (Sianez). Ellos lo acompañan en la muerte.
Le sobreviven su hijo, Jonahtan (Nancy) Unzueta, su hija María del Rosario (Juan Francisco) Limones; tres nietos Edwin, Carol y Sebastian. También le sobreviven sus hermanos, Ofelia (Everardo) Ibarra, Delfino (Norma) Unzueta, Alicia Unzueta, David (Eva) Unzueta, Yolanda (Emiliano) Salazar, María de la Luz Unzueta, Fortunato Unzueta, Alfonso (Silvia) Unzueta, Manuel (Araceli) Unzueta, Carlos (Lorena) Unzueta y Pedro (Yuri) Unzueta; junto con muchos sobrinos y primos.
Juan era un hombre de familia, trabajaba en un mercado de carne local en Blue Island. Disfrutaba del tiempo con sus familiares y amigos, le encantaba ver películas de acción y fútbol, y conducir su camioneta con la música alta.
El velorio será de 3:00 pm a 8:00 pm el Domingo 21 de Febrero en Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 Greenwood Ave, Blue Island, IL. La oración de la capilla será a las 9:00 am en Krueger Funeral Home. La misa se llevará a cabo en la Iglesia San Donatos, 1939 Union St, Blue Island, IL el Lunes 22 de Febrero a las 10:00 am. Seguirá el entierro en el cementerio Católico de St. Benedict en Crestwood, IL.
Juan Gabriel Unzueta Sianez, 46, of Alsip, passed away Tuesday (February 16, 2021) at his home with family by his side.
Juan was born May 3, 1974 in Durango, Mexico, the son of Manuel and Rosario Unzueta (Sianez). They preceded him in death.
He is survived by his son, Jonahtan (Nancy) Unzueta, daughter Maria del Rosario (Juan Francisco) Limones; three grandchildren Edwin, Carol & Sebastian. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Ofelia (Everardo) Ibarra, Delfino (Norma) Unzueta, Alicia Unzueta, David (Eva) Unzueta, Yolanda (Emiliano) Salazar, Maria de la Luz Unzueta, Fortunato Unzueta, Alfonso (Silvia) Unzueta, Manuel (Araceli) Unzueta, Carlos (Lorena) Unzueta, and Pedro (Yuri) Unzueta; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Juan was a family man, he worked at a local meat market in Blue Island. He enjoyed time with family & friends, loved to watch action movies and soccer, and drive his truck.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Sunday, Feb. 21, at Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 Greenwood Ave, Blue Island, IL. Chapel prayers Monday, 9:00 am at Krueger Funeral Home. The Mass will be held at St. Donatus Church, 1939 Union St, Blue Island, IL on Monday, Feb. 22 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at St. Benedict Catholic Cemetery in Crestwood, IL.
Due to the Covid 19 restrictions, all precautions must be adhered to and will be enforced. All visitors must have facial coverings and follow social distancing standards of 6 feet. The number of visitors will be limited to fifty (50) and monitored, it is requested that you refrain from physical contact. Out of courtesy to all who wish to pay their respects, please keep your time in the chapel brief. Thank you for your understanding, as we all work together during these unsettled times.
