Obituary of Adelaido Sanchez Rodriguez

Adelaido Sanchez Rodriguez, 74, of Blue Island, passed from this life February 18, 2021. Adelaido is the beloved husband of Esther Villalpando Sanchez. He is the loving father of Alma (Alvaro) Sanchez, Alicia (Pedro) Arguello and Edith (Juan) Fuerte and the proud grandfather of Jennifer Salgado, Cynthia Rosales, Elisabeth Rosales, Andres Rosales, Sabastian Fuerte, Eric Fuerte, Sofia Fuerte, Nathalie Aguello, Pedro Arguello Jr., Diego Arguello and Jesus Arguello. Adelaido is the dear brother of Adrian Sanchez, Adelfo Sanchez, Juan Sanchez, Guadalupe Sanchez and Silvia De La Piedra. Adelaido was born December 16, 1946 in Mexico City to the late Caitalina Rodriguez and the late Bernabe Sanchez. He has been a long-time of resident of Blue Island and a faithful member of St. Donatus Parish. When residing in Mexico, he was employed as a Valet Driver and a Paramedic. His hobbies include cooking and auto maintenance. Visitation for Adelaido will he held Thursday, February 25, 2021, from 8:30 am until the time of prayer service at 10:15 am then to St. Donatus Church, 1939 Union St., Blue Island, for mass 11:00 am. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip. If you would like to contribute in Adelaido's memory, donations to St. Donatus Church greatly appreciated. Due to the Covid 19 restrictions, all precautions must be adhered to and will be enforced. All visitors must have facial coverings and follow social distancing standards of 6 feet. The number of visitors will be limited to fifty (50) and monitored, it is requested that you refrain from physical contact.
