Obituary of Jane Castellano

Jane Castellano nee Montoya, 74, of Blue Island, passed from this life Thursday, March 4, 2021. Jane is the beloved wife of Arturo Castellano. She is the loving mother of Arturo Castellano Jr., Rebecca Castellano, Tina Castellano, Enrique (Rosa) Castellano and Cynthia (Mario) Munoz. Jane is the adored grandmother of Kristin (Justin) Diguido, Joshua McGuire, Veronica Munoz, Michael (Feba) Squires, Elysia (Kris) Knudsen, Samantha Castellano, Adria Rybarski, Mario Munoz Jr., Christopher Castellano, Jaime Munoz, Todd Embury Jr., Marisa Munoz, Julia (Jose) Garcia, Louis Tinoco, Tyler Embury, Yesenia Castellano, Enrique Castellano and Tanner Embury and the devoted great grandmother of thirteen. She is the dear sister of the late Josephine Boca Negra, the late Virginia Hernandez, Alfred (Mavis) Montoya, the late Benito (Eva) Montoya, Jessie (Sherri) Montoya, Richard (Donna) Montoya, Diane (Joe) Poncer, Gabriel (Dineen) Montoya and Leticia (Matt) Guerrero. Jane is the fond aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews. She leaves many other family members and friends to cherish her memory. Jane was born September 16, 1946 in Bismark, North Dakota, to the late Elvira nee Reyes and the late Antonio Montoya. She was devoted to her family, and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with them. Jane was a faithful member of Grace United Methodist Church/La Gracia De Dios. She was formerly employed by Federal Signal, a company that manufactures lights for police cars. Visitation for Jane will be held Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Friday 12 noon at Krueger Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery in Oak Lawn.
