Ms. Weiss was my 5th grade teacher. I wish I knew she was sick. We have been writing each other since I was a child. I knew something was wrong when my letters were not being responded too. My name is Juliette Anselmo I'm very sorry I wish I could give her a hug and tell her how much I love her. She will always be my role model and dearest friend. She is in a better place with my sister. I can't wait to see them again.

Carol was a Godsend to those who were her family, friends and co-workers - all persons whom she has touched. And now, she has returned to that same God who sent her to us. Requiescat in pacem, dear Carol. And for the rest of us, miserere nobis until we meet again.

Carol was one of the nicest and sweetest people. She always had a kind word to say about another person. She was a superb educator and her students appreciated her. Our lives will be dimmer without her but we can have faith that she is happy in heaven with her family and the Lord. Grace Fiorenza

My sincere condolences to Carol’s family and friends. Carol was a dear friend. I knew her while l working as a secretary for the CD program in South Holland, where she was a speech teacher in a program classroom. She wasn’t one to pass you by saying “How are you?” and not stay to hear the answer. She always wanted to get to know people and she was very personable. She will be greatly missed. OK

We will miss Carol very much. She had such a kind and giving soul loved by everyone but mostly the kids. I will miss talking to her about life and all it's adventures. I hope that she will join her Mom and My mom and all the rest of the bunco lady and start another club. Jim will miss her cookies at Christmas, but I will miss our 40 year friendships and all the fun we had at the Irish feasts and listening to Irish music Love you Carol
