Obituary of Gerald C. Stange

Gerald C. Stange, 80, of Midlothian, formerly of Blue Island, passed from this life Thursday, May 20, 2021. Gerald is the beloved husband of Janet J. nee Mayer. The couple were united in marriage May 20, 1968. He is the devoted father of Jeff (Victoria) Stange and the late Gerald J. Stange and the cherished step-grandfather of Jessica Lovecchio. Gerald was the dear brother of the late Norman Stange. He is the loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Gerald was born July 5, 1940 in Blue Island to the late Anna nee Krizik and the late Norman Stange. He was formerly employed for thirty-eight years by Modern Drop Forge, retiring in 1998. Visitation for Gerald will be held Monday, May 24, 2021 from 3:00 pm until the time of service at 7:00 pm. Cremation will be private.
