Obituary of Margarita Flores

Margarita Flores nee Escalante, 77, of Oak Forest, passed from this life Tuesday, July 13, 2021. Margarita is the beloved wife of Arnulfo J. Flores and the loving mother of Hector Flores, Sergio (Fran) Flores, Laura (Tony) Adams, Pablo (Eileen) Flores and David (Adriana) Flores. She is the adored grandmother of Hector, Anthony, Alex, Michael, Frederico, Sergio, Nichole, Anthony, Alex, Pablo, Jackson, Lennon, David, Alexa and Andrew and proud great grandmother of many. Margarita is a cherished sister, aunt and friend. Margarita was born June 10, 1944, in San Luis, Potosi, Mexico to the late Celerina Juarez and Pablo Escalante. She was a faithful member of St. Damian Church and a member of the Women's Club. Margarita's greatest joy was her family and friends and she enjoyed nothing more than spending time with them. Visitation for Margarita will be held Friday, July 16, 2021 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Chapel prayers will be conducted Saturday at 9:30 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, then to St. Damian Church, 5250 155th St., Oak Forest, for mass at 10:30 am. Interment will take place at St. Benedict Cemetery in Crestwood. In lieu of flowers, please direct donations in memory of Margarita to St. Damian Women’s Club.
