Obituary of Misael E. Ramirez

Misael E. Ramirez, 66, of Blue Island, passed from this life Wednesday, August 18, 2021. Misael was born October 20, 1954 in Mexico to the late Atanacia nee Esparza and the late Anastacio Ramirez. He is the beloved husband of Irene nee Castaneda. Misael is the loving father of Misael Ramirez Jr. and Maribel (Jose) Astorga. He is the adored grandfather of Elissa Ramirez, Isabel Ramirez, Ulysses Ramirez, Misael Ramirez, Michael Ramirez, Pricilla Astorga, David Astorga and Juliana Astorga. Misael is the dear brother of Jafeth Ramirez, Juan Ramirez, Efrain Ramirez, Jeremias Ramirez, Isabel Nieves, the late Isaias Ramirez, the late Elizabeth Fernandez and Saul Ramirez. Visitation for Misael will be held Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Chapel prayers will be conducted Friday, 9:00 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, then to St. Benedict Church, 2339 York St., Blue Island for mass at 10:00 am. Interment will take place at St. Casimir Cemetery.
