Obituary of Toribio G. Ramos

Toribio G. Ramos, 86, of Blue Island, passed from this life Sunday, November 21, 2021. He is the beloved husband of Lucila Montemayor Ramos. Toribio is the loving father of Lucila (Jim) Holiday, Linda (Mike) Smith, Toribio (Dora) Ramos Jr., Francisca (Sergio) Flores and Rosa (Noe) Herrera. He is the proud grandfather and great grandfather of many. Toribio was born July 13, 1935 in Mexico to the late Hermelinda Garza and Refugio Ramos. He was a former semi-pro baseball player and a Cubs fan! Visitation for Toribio will be held Friday, November 26, 2021 from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Interment will take place at St. Benedict Cemetery in Crestwood.
