Obituary of Benjamin M. Esparza

Benjamin M. Esparza, 67, of Blue Island, passed from this life Friday, December 17, 2021. Benjamin was born November 13, 1954 in Mexico to Gerarda Mauricio and the late Benjamin Esparza Gallegos. He is the beloved husband of Maria C. Hurtado Esparza. Benjamin is the loving father of Marisa (Willie) Tapia and Belinda (Javier) Bejarno and the proud grandfather of Adrian, Desiree, Jocelyn, Isis, Nyah, Nayilea, Christian, Leah, Caleb, Iylani and Ivy. He is the dear brother of the late Maria Del Rosario, Gabriela Esparza, Armando Esparza, the late Eladio Esparza, Claudia Esparza and the late Enrique Esparza. Benjamin leaves many other family members and friends to cherish his memory. Cremation is private. A memorial mass for Benjamin will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at 9:30 am at St. Benedict/St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 2339 York St. in Blue island.
