Obituary of Edward L. Reiher

Edward L. Reiher, 95, of Blue Island, passed from this life Friday, January 14, 2022 at Palos Community Hospital. Edward was the beloved husband of the late Lois nee Fedor, who passed away July 30, 2018. The couple were united in marriage on June 11, 1960. He is the loving father of Brian E. Reiher and the cherished grandfather of Michael E. Reiher and Monica R. (Robert) Reiher-Easton. Edward is the proud great grandfather of Edward R. Easton and June R. Easton. He is the dear brother of Louis (the late Jeannette) Reiher, the late Norman (Sheila) Reiher and the late Bernice (the late Don) Duehr. Edward is the dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Edward was a faithful, life long member of Salem Ev. Lutheran Church of Blue Island. He was a retired United States Postal Service employee. Visitation for Edward will take place Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:30 pm at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Interment will take place at First Ev. Lutheran Cemetery, Alsip. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorial donations to Salem Ev. Lutheran Church.
