The loss of someone close is difficult to bear, but the sorrow that you feel is a sorrow that we share. May it comfort you to know you are in our prayers.
Fifty plus years of being neighbors, we always checked on each other. Lula was a concerned citizen of the block. Her husband, Louis Johnson (deceased), and their daughter Lisa served as president of our block club and so much more in our community.
Yes, we will miss you Lula, but you left a gift of memories. Shannon and Lisa, hold on to those memories and let them guide you through this time of sorrow.

Mrs. Johnson was introduced to our family 55yrs ago. She was always a kind, and generous neighbor. She was a dutiful friend to my mother, Beulah Porter-Priest. We will be forever grateful to Mrs. Johnson who unselfishly opened her home with kindness and care of our mother, as she was transitioning home from a long rehab experience. She and her family will forever be regarded as our family.

I would like to express my condolences to the Johnson family on the passing of Lula Johnson. I worked many years with Lula at CNA and she was a wonderful person to work with. She was very proud of her family and would always be telling us of their accomplishments.

My sincere condolences to the family. Our friendship began in 1978 and continued until she made her transition. We always kept in touch and spent a lot of time on the phone keeping up with our children and discussing affairs of the world. Lula was a very kind and giving person and was very proud of her children’s accomplishments. I am missing her this very moment. Rest On My Dear Friend.
