Obituary of Martin B. Munnich Jr.

Martin B. Munnich Jr., 62, of Lansing, passed from this life Saturday, May 14, 2022. Martin was born October 16, 1959 in Chicago to the late Audrey E. nee Busch and the late Martin B. Munnich Sr. He has been employed by Eenigenburg Manufacturing of Lansing, IL for more than twenty years. Martin was a faithful member of Ross Community Reformed Church of Gary, IN, serving as a deacon. Martin was very devoted to his family and friends, always willing to drop everything to help someone in need. He was so very proud of his children and supported them through out their lives. Martin enjoyed being an active member of his church. He had a deep love for his dogs. Martin found relaxation when riding his motorcycles and also liked to participate in dartball and shooting sports. He was a Chicago Bears fan. Martin is the beloved father of Dr. Amanda Munnich and Martin Munnich III. He is the caring brother of Richard (Maria) Munnich and the dear friend and former husband of Linda (Kim) Bishop. Martin is fond uncle of Kathy (Mike) Munnich and Michelle (John) Krantz. He is the devoted companion of Ida, Dooboo, Mandoo, Potter and Patty! Martin leaves many other family members and friends to cherish his memory. Visitation for Martin will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will take place Wednesday at 10:00 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Interment will take place at Beverly Cemetery.
