As I think of Ken and Maryanne, I think of love, patience, understanding and a story of what love should be... yes, the ending is sad but the beginning, the middle and up until the very last minute, was the best and the most beautiful part of life that anyone would've loved to have lived. Life isn't always sunshine and rainbows and there are moments when you think the light might not shine but it always did, until it couldn't. Our hearts and prayers are with you, and we thank you for sharing yourselves with us, we are so blessed because we were able to call you, our friends. I found this poem and I thought of both of you as I read it...

I seemed to have loved you in numberless forms, numberless times, in life after life, in age after age, Forever
my spellbound heart has made and remade the necklace of songs, that you take as a gift, wear around your neck in your many forms. In life after life, age after age, Forever...
