My deepest condolences to her family.
I had Mrs. Mary Lou for 9 years as my piano teacher. She taught me from 5 years old to 14 years old. I will be forever grateful for the effect she left on me during those years. She was a heartwarming person that cared a lot about her students. I am grateful to have my knowledge of piano, because of her teachings. May she rest in peace.
I am in college now and will forever cherish the piano recitals, new songs I learned to play, and her markings on my piano books.

From my sister, Judy Nalezinek Burkeen and Jeannie Nalezinek Casey, we send our most sincere sympathy to Jimmy, Gary, and Janice Facko having experienced the loss of your mother, our neighbor on Western Avenue, Mary Lou Facko. Your family lived next door and we grew up with your family on Western Avenue. Jimmy, we called Beauregard Bernside III, it was Gary George, and bringing up the rear, the rose in the thorn bushes, Janice. Jimmy played so many hours of "Roads" with my sister, Judy under the swing set in our back yard crawling around in the dirt. Sharon Martin came along refusing to join the fun with you two and rather participated in our singing contests underneath the swing set. Such wonderful memories of growing up with you next door.
Remember all the holes we dug in the stonehouse???LOL. Sold all the old Christmas trees after the Christmas holiday while hoarding all the paper clippings from the Vernon Press.
If Bob Vernon was alive as well as Dickie Martin, Denniy Martin, Eddie Swanson, Sally Monroe and Jack Monroe were alive today, they would also be sending their sympathy as they all knew your mother, Mary Lou over the years. She watched over us during those childhood years for which we are alive and well today. We remember your grandmother and grandfather and even Ikey the dog and your father Gig.
We wish your mother, Mary Lou, eternal peace as her loss has brought so many wonderful memories of growing up alongside the Facko family. Please accept our sympathy kids.

My beautiful grandma was such a huge part of my life and I am so blessed to have as long as I did with her. She shaped me into who I am today and inspired me to pursue my artistic dreams as well as taught me how to be selfless and kind. My grandma would do anything for anyone. She was so creative, sweet, witty, sassy, fashionable, and stubborn. She really was a class act ❤️

I have the fondest of memories of my Aunt Mary Lou and Uncle Gig. Sorry to hear of her passing. This is a photo of them holding me as a baby 70 years ago. I remember well the wonderful holiday dinners with my cousins when we were children.
