Obituary of Marilyn I. Darr

Tribute & Message From The Family Marilyn I. Darr Marilyn I. Darr nee Fundick, 94, of Davie, Florida, formerly of Garden Homes, passed from this life Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Kindred Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. Marilyn was born December 21, 1915 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Anna nee Patrick and the late Robert Bude Fundick. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert H. Darr who passed away February 1, 1990. She is the loving mother of Robert (Debbie) Darr and James Darr. Marilyn is the cherished grandmother of Carrie, Jimmy and Aunna. She is the dear sister of Lillian Sudar and was preceded in death by nine siblings. Marilyn was a United States Women's Army Corps veteran serving in WWII. She was formerly employed as a stenographer for Swift Foods. Marilyn was a former active member of St. Joseph & St. Aidans Episcopal Church. Visitation for Marilyn was held Wednesday, January 20, from 10:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Deacon Becky Sperry of St. Joseph & St. Aidans Episcopal Church officiated. Interment took place at Beverly Cemetery.
