i loved mrs roberts, she was my favorite teacher ever. she was there for me and helped me with my work and she was always the light in the classroom, i can barely say anything but it hurts sm to know that she’s really gone and i won’t ever see her again, i can’t imagine how her family feels. honestly this is so upsetting but i hope she can have her rest.

Mrs. Roberts was a big part of my life ever since I met her. She always used to pick fun at me and my friends. She was so silly and she raised all of her kids so well. She was the highlight of everyone’s day. I can speak for everyone when I say sue always lit up the room when she walked in the room. Mrs. Roberts was a beautiful woman inside and out. I am so grateful that I had even the slightest chance to meet such a beautiful soul. Recess was so fun in her room. She always got up and danced with us, she was such a fun vibrant spirit to be around. Meeting her had such a big impact on my life. When I met her, she made me rethink all my past bad decisions, and I feel that she was the reason I really changed. Mrs. Roberts was always a cheerleader for anyone who needed it. She had a big impact on all of the students life. Once she had said, “that no one was ever a bad person, they just make some not so smart decisions”. I have kept that with me ever since. She had the biggest smile every morning going into school. Every day she made everyone smile, even on her bad days. She had such a good additive towards even the most difficult decisions. I prayed for her every day and night, this was completely unexpected, but a good thing to look at is she is no longer pain or suffering, she is in a better place and we will all see her again with internal life in heaven. My best prayers for her family and friends.

I am so sorry to be missing the the memorial service for Kristy today. She most certainly deserves the highest of tributes. My deepest sympathies to Kristy's husband and their beautiful children. She truly was sunshine. I have known the Zakhar Family for many years and my heart breaks for all of them. Such a tight-knit group. Hold on to each other family and friends, this loss hits hard for many. God's blessing on all those that love her.

I will always remember Kristy from our year working together at Bailey. She was such a kind, welcoming soul. I don't think she ever knew a stranger. My condolences to the family. I know her presence will be greatly missed.

My deepest sympathies go out to her loved ones. Kristy was a kind soul and a pleasure to work alongside with at WIS. When I first met her to welcome her to WIS, we had an instant friend bond. We shared many laughs and tears together at WIS. I will truly miss her. However, she has a forever place in my heart and memories. Even though she is not with us in person she will be smiling to us from up above.
Love and hugs are sent to all.

I met Kristy in 2nd grade when we were 7 years old. In a class of 20, Kristy shined the brightest. We spoke only a handful of times after we graduated high school and each went our own ways; but every time our paths crossed it was like no time had passed at all. Kristy has left a lasting impact in my life as I know she’s done for so many others. My condolences to the many, many who loved her.

Kristy was my cheerleading coach for the BIU Untouchables! We won 1st place both years and also spent Thanksgiving together in Florida for 2 years. She is unforgettable in many ways! Sweet, happy and always positive she made even the worst days enjoyable! I’m 40yr old now and I remember her as if it was yesterday! I feel confident in knowing she is home with her mother and their smiles together will light up the world and sun forever. Xoxoxo from one Kristy to another love u

I was Kristy’s first grade teacher at Whittier School in Blue Island. She was in the play the Wizard of Oz that year. Kristy was a great kid and as I ran into her as she grew up , she was a delight to know. She never lost her upbeat attitude. My deepest sympathies to her family. You are in my prayers. Godspeed Kristy♥️. Mrs. C.
