Obituary of Eunice A. Weiss

Eunice A. Weiss nee Predan “Bubbles”, 89, of Merrionette Park, formerly of Dolton, passed from this life Monday, July 3, 2023.

Eunice was the cherished, lifelong wife of the late Charles R. Weiss. She is the beloved mother of Cheryl Dunajski and Rick (Debbie) Weiss. Eunice is the loving and nurturing grandmother of Lauren (Dan) Cihocki, Allison (David) Nozzolillo, Melissa (Mike) and Michael and the adored great gramma “Bubbles” of Alex, Ellie, Audrey, Ashley, Christopher, Ava, Mikey and Hannah. She is the dear sister of JoAnn (the late Joseph) Bona, the late Donna Thompson and the late Victor Klama.

“Bubbles” will be remembered as a strong, independent woman who lived her life fully and in her own way. She was devoted to her family and was a true matriarch, creating a foundation of love and understanding. Eunice enjoyed cooking and baking to the enjoyment of her family and friends. She found relaxation in crocheting and excitement in watching sports. “Bubbles” was a devoted Cubs fan, however hockey was her favorite, not only the Blackhawks, but she followed all the playoff games as well. Eunice also liked to do a bit of shopping, especially at Kohls !

Visitation for Eunice will be held Thursday, July 6, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 10:00 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Interment will take place at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
