I just wanted to say Aunt Mary’s service was so very beautiful beyond my words. All the love felt during the tributes started with Aunt Mary and reflected out ward to everyone there and beyond. Michael & Tom’s words described Aunt Mary’s essence fully. Thank you Michael, Theresa, Tom & Carrie for all the wonderful beautiful memories you shared in reflection of Aunt Mary’s life. A special thank you to Aunt Mary’s Loving Caregiving Team! Thank you Maria, so very much for all your love & dedication over the years! I am so very blessed to be counted among her loved ones and that I got to experience the Love of Aunt Mary. I am so very grateful! We all are missing her very much but we know she is walking in Heaven with our Almighty God, all the Heavenly Saints & Angels and all her loved ones. It was wonderful to be with all of the families & friends! Love to all. Prayers & Best Wishes Always to all. God Bless You!

Aunt Mary has the hugest loving heart and a wonderful sense of humor! She has always been so wonderful to me & my family. As I go through my memories in my mind from being a young girl and throughout all the years of my life, I can sincerely say I have always felt love, joy & happiness when it came to Aunt Mary. From the way she spoke her sunny words of positivity & wisdom, her kind words or just sending me a card or a gift to say “I love you” to me and my family, to picking up the phone and Aunt Mary on the other ending saying, “ Hi, Ya. Is your Mom there?” Aunt Mary drove me downtown when I was 16 to take my Illinois Cosmetology License. She also, took me to Chicago Art Institute for a girl’s day out with me in 1984 when I was going through a few hard things to help put a smile on my face & in my heart. I have gifts from Aunt Mary throughout my house that remind me of her everyday that I get to look at and remind me of her beautiful soul and who she is. I would pray and send her love from Nebraska to her bed in Chicago. Knowing how well she was being taken care of by her loved ones & her amazing caregivers. Thank you all for all you have done for Aunt Mary. These words are simple but they are deeply felt within me and so much appreciated for you all being there for her each and every day. I hope when I said a prayer to her over the phone or in person with her that she knew it was me. Aunt Mary always seemed to love my knock-knock joke because I would hear back from Janet or Cookie that she just smiled. The joke was “Knock-Knock.” “Who’s there?” “Olive.” “Olive who?” “Olive you!”
-You have always been with me Aunt Mary and always will be. I hope you are very happy there in Heaven with everyone and catching up on everything. May the Good Lord keep Blessing you forever and ever. Thank you for everything from the bottom of my heart! I love you Aunt Mary and I really miss you! One day we will hug each other again!
Susie
P.S. I have missed hearing your voice, Aunt Mary. I certainly hope you’re speaking up & speaking your mind out loud now! ; )
