Tribute & Message From The Family Vincent Cook Yager, 81, of Villa Park, passed away February 14, 2010 while vacationing in Mexico. Beloved husband of Dorothy M. nee Gallagher for 52 years, loving father of Susan Yager and Sheila (Merrick) Trossman, devoted grandfather of Brian, Meghan and Blake, brother of Judith A. (Day) Penfield, dear uncle of several nieces and nephews, friend and mentor to many. Current Director and retired President and CEO of Great Lakes Financial Resources, former President and CEO of 1st National Bank of Blue Island, Past President and member of Bankers Club of Chicago, Active member Blue Island Rotary, US Army veteran of the Korean War. Memorial visitation Saturday, March 20, 2010 from 9:30 am until the time of service at 10:30 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Vincent C. Yager Memorial Scholarship Fund of Grinnell College, greatly appreciated.
