Obituary of Joe Egert

Joseph “Joe” Egert, 68, of Palos Heights, passed from this life on July 23, 2024.

Joe is the beloved husband of Hai li Yang.  They have been united in marriage for twenty years.  He was born on July 12, 1956 to the late Joseph William Egert, Sr. and the late Carole Ann Voss.  Joe is survived by his sister Janice Hamilton.

Joe was an avid bowler and enjoyed many rounds of golf.  He also enjoyed traveling the world.  Joe traveled to China multiple times, visiting the Great Wall of China, his family, as well as the city of Hong Kong.

A memorial visitation for Joe will be held Sunday, July 28, 2024 from 2:00 pm until the time of memorial service at 6:00 pm at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 Greenwood Ave., Blue Island.  Cremation will be private.
