Obituary of Bonnie L. Mead

Tribute & Message From The Family Bonnie Miedema Almer Mead, died Sept. 7. Born Feb. 9, 1944 to Alfred and Dorothy Miedema. She graduated from Fenger High School and attended North Park College. She worked for TWA and traveled the world extensively. Later in life, she worked as a massage therapist and in elder care. In 1965, Bonnie married her childhood friend, Arnold Almer with whom she had three children, Jay (Diane), Jonathan (Jennifer Layden) and Heather (Safa) Saracoglu; she was the cherished grandmother of Ella, Lena, Owen and Layden Almer and Sofi, Luke and Marie Saracoglu; she was the dear sister of Ronald (Beverly) and Wayne (Mindy) Miedema; Bonnie is also survived by her devoted companion, Bob Cripe; as well as several nieces and nephews. Bonnie was a wonderful friend and a light in the lives of many people. In lieu of flowers, contributions to your local animal shelter would be appreciated. Services will be private.
