Obituary of Lois W. Haase

Lois W. Haase nee Woike, 88, of Palos Heights, formerly of Blue Island. She was the beloved wife of the late William Haase, who passed away July 5, 2013. Lois is the loving mother of Cathy (Richard) Watt, Patty (John) Demmert and David (Lynn) Haase. She is the cherished grandmother of Ron (Kim) Torres, Alyssa Watt, Dana Demmert, Rachel Haase and the late Brett Torres and the proud great grandmother of Emily, William, Ella, Savanna and Addison. Lois is the dear sister of Esther Luenser and was preceded in death by her sisters Ruth Prafke, Alice Woike, Gladys Decker and brothers Arthur Woike, Elmer Woike, Ervin Woike, William Woike and Henry Woike. Lois was formerly active in the Altar Guild of First Ev. Lutheran Church and was also an active volunteer at First Ev. Lutheran School. She also served as a bookkeeper for First Ev. Lutheran Cemetery and Kass Brothers Auto Parts. Visitation for Lois will be held Sunday, June 21, 2015 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm. She will lie in state Monday, June 22, from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at First Ev. Lutheran Church, Grove & Ann Sts., Blue Island. Interment will take place at First Ev.
