Obituary of Rose M. Marx

Rose M. nee Pallach, 87, of Blue Island. She was the beloved wife of the late Bill, and the cherished mother of Janice Marx, Linda (late Mike) McCarthy, Michele Marx (Denise McLean), Karen (Mark) MacLean and Thomas (Kimberly) Marx. Rose is the adored grandmother of Ryan (Kristen) Cialdella, Samantha (Steve) D'Amico, Jennifer (John) McCarthy, Bill MacLean, Ian MacLean, Lauren Marx, Emily Marx and Joseph Marx and the proud great grandmother of Noah and Connor Cialdella. She is the loving sister of Rita (late Aloysius) Pyka, Chester (Barbara) Pallach, the late John "Doc" (late Irene) Pallach and the late Theodore (late Frieda) Pallach and the fun-loving aunt and great aunt of many. Rose was a dedicated homemaker and mother. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family, however she was an avid bingo player, White Sox fan and also would crochet many beautiful treasures for her friends and family. Rose was a lifelong resident of Blue Island and a faithful member of St. Isidore Parish. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 7, 2016, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Chapel prayers Friday, January 8, 9:15 am at Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Avenue, Blue Island, then to St. Benedict Church, 2339 York St., Blue Island, for mass at 10:00 am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 6001 W. 111th St., Alsip.
