Doberstein, 89, life long resident of Blue Island, retired employee of the Rock Island Railroad, beloved husband of Patricia nee Mager, loving father of Mark (Mary) Doberstein, the late Steven (Christine) Doberstein and Kevin (Carolyn) Doberstein, proud grandfather of Brian, Claire, Katie, Scott and Eric, and dear brother of the late Roger Dobie and the late Vivian Beadell. Cremation and services private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Salvation Army.
