Obituary of Carl Robert Whitcomb

Carl R. Whitcome, 61, of Blue Island. Beloved husband of Madeleine nee Bickel, loving father of Amy Whitcomb, Anna Whitcomb, Thomas Whitcomb, Carly Whitcomb, Randy Craig, Raymond Craig, Benny DeBOER, Deanna (Ryan) DeBOER, Ariel DeBOER, Stacy DeBOER, Zachary (Sarah) DeBOER and Crysta DeBOER, devoted grandfather of Aaron, Brian, Josie, Isabella and Zachary, cherished son of the late Robert and Doris Whitcomb, dear brother of Janet Johnson, Cathy Whitcomb and the late Thomas Whitcomb. Carl was a retired crane operator of local 150 of International Union of Operating Engineers.He enjoyed racing cars. A memorial visitation for Carl will be held Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 2:00 pm until the time of service at 8:00 pm at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Cremation will be private.
