Obituary of Maria L. Salazar

Maria L. Salazar nee Aguilar, 92, of Blue Island. She was the beloved wife of the late Jesus V. Salazar, who passed away April 28, 2011. Maria is the loving mother of Patty Abraham and the devoted grandmother of Eduardo Abraham. She is the dear sister of Victor Aguilar, Everarado Aguilar and Francisco (Lupe) Aguilar. Maria has resided in Blue Island since 1949. She was dedicated to her family. Maria liked spending time with her family and enjoyed cooking meals for them. Visitation for Maria will be held Thursday, April 20, 2017. Chapel prayers will begin Friday, April 21, at 9:00 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island, then to St. Benedict Church, 2339 York St., Blue Island for mass at 10:00 am. Interment will take place at St. Benedict Cemetery, Crestwood.
