Pauline was a wonderful person who contributed so much to the Blue Island community. An intelligent and compassionate woman, Pauline always seemed to have a kind or encouraging word and a solution to a problem or dilemma, whether it pertained to her job with Cook County School District 130 or her volunteer role as den mother of Cub Scout Troop #3784. She was a mainstay on the 2500 block of Collins Street for so many years that the neighborhood was not the same after she retired to Spartanburg. We will miss Pauline, but we always will be grateful to her and remember her.
