Obituary of Ronald A. Wicherek

Ronald A. Wicherek, 59, of Alsip, formerly of Calumet Park. He is the beloved father of Steven Wicherek. Ron was the cherished son of the late Stanley and Myrtle nee Rembleski and the loving brother of Bob (Marge) Wicherek, Ken Wicherek, Eddie (Alice) Wicherek, Marcia (Bill) Werner, Rosie Chenoweth Wicherek, and the late Jack Wicherek. He is the devoted uncle, cousin and friend of many.

Ron recently retired from Tootsie Roll Industries. He was a dedicated member of the American Legion and VFW. Ron enjoyed camping, fishing, Nascar and Harley motorcycles. Most of all, Ron loved people and spending time with his family and many friends. He had a joy for life and a smile that lit up the room.  

Visitation for Ron will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, 11:00 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Cremation will be private.
