I have many, many memories of growing up and spending time with my cousin, Bill (and Amy). One time, while spending a week at Aunt Billie's house, I got sick with some virus. Aunt Billie isolated me from the other kids, in Linda's former bedroom. I was terribly bored, but Bill would sneak in periodically (at the risk of aggravating his mom) with stuffed animals, games, or just fun conversation to help me pass the time. As we got older, we grew apart, as often happens in families, and yet with our infrequent encounters, Bill's compassion and caring for others would often shine through. I will always remember him as having a beautiful heart.
