Obituary of Rita Joyce Marquez

Rita J. Marquez nee Mazzotti, 56, of Hazel Crest, passed from this life Sunday, September 30, 2018. She is the beloved wife of Reynard A. Marquez. Rita is the devoted mother of Matthew Marquez. She is the cherished daughter of Mildred nee Tucker and the late Joseph Mazzotti. Rita is the dear sister of David (Rose) Mazzotti, the late Norma Jo (Javier) Hernandez, Arlene Mazzotti, the late Joseph Vito Mazzotti and Anna Marie Mazzotti. She is the loving aunt of Jaime Oliver, the late Joshua Hernandez, Regina Hill, David Mazzotti, Vincent Punda, Adam Mazzotti, Anthony Mazzotti, Alyssa McGuire and Emily McGuire.

Visitation for Rita will be held Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 17951 Dixie Highway, Homewood. Rita will lie in state from 9:30 am until the time of Holy Mass at 10:00 am. Entombment will take place at Queen Of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
