Obituary of Mary Sabina Weiss

Mary Weiss nee Marren, 87, of Blue Island, passed from this life Friday, November 2, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Vincent Weiss. She is the loving mother of Carol Weiss, Charles M. (Donna) Weiss and Linda Weiss. Mary is the cherished grandmother of Diane (Jim) Bahr and Connie Weiss and the devoted great grandmother of Aryanna Weiss. She is the dear sister of Mike Marren and Jim Marren.

Mary was formerly employed as an administrative assistant for the Archdiocese of Chicago. She was a faithful member of St. Walter parish and served as a Eucharistic minister, lector and commentator. Mary also enjoyed gardening, sewing and reading.

Visitation for Mary will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Holy mass will be celebrated Thursday, 10:00 am  at St. Walter Church, 117th St. and Western Ave., Chicago. Interment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery in Evergreen Park.
