Obituary of Christina Josephine Hurley

Christina J. Hurley, 23, of Blue Island, passed from this life Wednesday, February 13, 2019. She is the beloved daughter of Nicole Hurley and Jason Hansen. Christina is the cherished sister of C.J. Hurley, Jakob Hansen, Jayden Hansen, Janice Hansen and Jayce Hansen. She is the loving aunt and godmother of Grace Christine Hurley and aunt of Carson Ray Hurley. Christina is the adored granddaughter of Ron and the late Janice DiFoggio and Dave and Diane Gregorchuk. She is the lifelong friend of Julia Duggan. Christina is the fond niece, cousin and friend of many. She is the special friend of her two fur babies, her cat Spartan and her ferret Athena.

Christina was extremely devoted to her family, especially her brothers and sisters. She loved spending time with her mom shopping and stopping for a bite at Applebees. Christina will be remembered as the "Life of the Party". She would brighten up the room with her smile and zest. Christina was a 2014 graduate of Dwight D. Eisenhower High School and was currently employed as an administrative secretary for DiFoggio and Sam plumbing company.

Visitation for Christina will be held Sunday, February 17, 2019 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Interment will be private at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip.
