Obituary of Shirley F. Haveck

Shirley F. Haveck nee Prusia, 98, of Oswego, formerly of Hazel Crest, passed from this life Sunday, March 12, 2023.

Shirley was the beloved wife of the late Paul J. Haveck, who passed away May 29, 2006. She is the loving mother of the late Linda (the late Joe) Rinner, Paul D. (Marsha) Haveck and Kathleen (Jay) Austin. Shirley is the devoted grandmother of Paul J. Haveck and Daniel (Macie) Haveck and the cherished great grandmother of Greyson Haveck. She was the dear sister of the late Henrietta Prusia, Lauretta Prusia, Charlene Prusia and Sylvia Guldager.

Shirley was born October 10, 1924 in Chicago to the late Sylvia nee Feldmann and the late Clayton Prusia. She had a fun loving spirit and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family and friends.  Shirley could also be found reading a novel, working on a puzzle or knitting.

Visitation for Shirley will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 9:00 am until the time of her services at 11:00 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Interment will take place at Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery.
