To Joe, John, Jimmy, and Henry, family and friends...
Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the passing of your mother Anna Maria Savino. It saddens me that she is no longer with us. She was such a wonderful person and a force of nature. So kind and caring to all.
The many times I was over at your house and your mother always greeted me with a friendly smile. She was always ask how I was doing, with a sincere interest in what was going on in my life.
Humorously, she would always try to feed me, "You're so skinny...eat something." (LOL) I can vividly remember her voice with that Italian accent, my first encounter with someone from the old country. A bit strange since I'm Italian as well.
Anna Maria was a gentle, warm soul, with an inviting nature. One of her best qualities is that she really did care about others and her sons. I'm glad I got the opportunity to know such a tremendous person. It was a pleasure.
I'm so glad that she had a life well-lived, rich and full. God has plans for everyone. I'm sure he has a special one for Anna Maria. Peace and serenity for all eternity.
