Dear Savino family,
I know the sense of loss you all must be feeling right now and my heart goes out to you. We all wish that there were something we can say or do to take the pain away but in reality know that the grieving process must run it's course. Nevertheless, I hope that you are comforted by the fact that your Mother had a long and wonderful life.
I only had one opportunity to meet her and see the joy in her heart and love she felt for her family. She was obviously a loving person who felt deeply about giving back and caring for others. Her commitment to being not just a parent but a foster and adoptive parent as well speaks volumes to this. She was so excited to be a part of the United Rehabilitation Services (URS) Rubber Duck Regatta event and around the children and all the activity. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to see her so enlivened and in her element. Your Mother's love and caring for children and those in need is being carried on by her daughter Vivian and we are privileged to be associated with her and your entire family. Thank you all for including URS as a recipient of donations and allowing us to honor the greatness in your Mother's life!
