Obituary of Vivian M. Savino

Tribute & Message From The Family Vivian Marie Savino nee Brady, 90, formerly of Blue Island, member Third Order of Carmelites, retired RN, Little Company of Mary and St. Francis Hospitals, passed away at her home Sunday, July 20, surrounded by her adoring family. She was born June 4, 1924. Beloved wife of 46 years of the late Henry D. Savino. Loving mother of Dr. Margaret Savino (Dr. Robert Hoopes), Anthony (Pamela) Savino, Timothy (Katrena) Traut-Savino, Vivian (Patrick) O'Connell, and the late Henry Savino Jr. and Patrick Savino. Cherished grandmother of Mary, Candice, Judy, AnnaLise, Anthony Jr., Matthew, Katie, Thomas, Jessica, David, Lori, Emily and Sarah, proud great grandmother of Brandon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to www.ursdayton.org, greatly appreciated. Vivian was a member of the "U.S. Cadette Nursing Corp" and devoted her life to helping others. She loved children and was an adoptive parent, as well as a foster parent to many children. For more than 15 years, she volunteered her time at the Community Pregnancy Center in Winter Haven, Florida. She was an avid card player and volunteered at several nursing homes sharing her love of cards with the residents.
