Cherished step father of Christopher (Billiana) Fron of Blue Island, Brian Fron of Austin, Texas, Ivy Fron of Blue Island, Heather (Steve) Sorfleet of Chicago, Camille Fron of Chicago, Alyssa (Chris) Newcomb of Evanston and Edward (Carmen) Fron of Denver. Fond step grandfather of Gina Fron, Kelly and Rachel Sorfleet, Becca and Hannah Fron, Calvin, Xander and Oliver Newcomb, Nathalie and Austin Fron and Edward Fron. James was formerly employed by the Army Corps of Engineers as Chief of Land Acquisition. He was a very active member and Past President of the Lions Clubs of Blue Island and Morgan Park and also served Lions Clubs International in Mississippi, Kentucky and Tennessee. In Mississippi, he was a very successful administer of the Lions Club Eyebank program.
